1. Use the Empire State Building as a backdrop

Rockefeller Centre
The Empire State Building itself offers breathtaking views of the city from the top floor observation deck, which is even better to visit in the evening or at sunset. However, opting to visit the Top of the Rock at the Rockefeller Centre may find you the perfect shot, and view, of the concrete jungle found in the New York City skyline.
