The project began as a honeymoon dream of Peter and Hailey, who envisioned building a “castle” hotel to share with the world. With backgrounds in theme park design and an eye for creativity, the pair poured years into transforming an old hazelnut farm into a hotel that feels straight out of a fairytale.
What began as an ambitious side project took nearly a decade to realise, resulting in a labour of love. Their vision and dedication shine through in every detail, creating an emotional connection for guests looking to escape the ordinary.

The first suite to open in 2024 was the North Star Suite. For the adventurers at heart, the North Star Suite evokes the romance of the high seas. Inspired by nautical adventures and pirate tales, the suite features design elements like a captain’s quarters-style bedroom, intricate wood carvings, and statues of mermaids guarding your stay. It’s as if Treasure Island came magically to life, allowing you to channel your inner explorer.

Inspired by timeless tales of quaint, cosy burrows and hobbit-style dwellings, this suite is built into a hillside and features a gorgeous organic ceiling shaped by the roots of the majestic tree above.
The Under Hill Suite captures the true essence of whimsical living, offering guests an intimate haven beneath a picturesque thatched roof. The interior is adorned with rich wood accents, stone details, and handcrafted furnishings, reflecting the warmth and tranquillity of an idyllic woodland escape.
